With the release of OSX 10.15, Catalina, Apple has ended support for all 32-bit devices. Many software products and device drivers were significantly impacted by this decision and IMAGEPRINT was no exception. IMAGEPRINT required a significant overhaul to comply with Apple's decision and those changes have been incorporated in both BLACK and R.E.D. versions of IMAGEPRINT. Read on to learn more about what you can expect from Apple's latest update to OSX.
Yes. Both IMAGEPRINT BLACK and R.E.D. are fully compatible with Catalina, OSX 10.15. However, some users will have to update their old 32-bit dongles to work with the 64-bit version.
Click here to download our Compatibility Checker. The Checker will run on OSX 10.10 or higher. If you're using an older operating system, please email support for assistance. Once the download is finished, go to the Downloads folder on your Mac and look for the file named, Compatibility Checker.dmg. Make sure the IMAGEPRINT dongle is plugged into a USB port on your Mac, then double-click the dmg file. Now double-click the Compatibility Checker.app to see the dongle’s status. If you receive an “Unknown Developer” warning, right click (or control click) the Compatibility Checker.app icon and choose OPEN from the context menu that appears.
If you have to update your dongle to work with MAC OSX 10.15 (Catalina), you’ll need to return it to us for reprogramming. We highly recommend using a delivery service that includes tracking. The replacement cost for dongles lost in transit will be the full price of the software package.

The charge for the update is $40 plus shipping. This price only applies if your dongle is functioning and can be read by IP Setup. To confirm that it’s working, launch IP Setup and make sure you see the 6-digit code that matches the label on your dongle. If your dongle is no longer working, the replacement cost is $150 plus shipping.
We’ll make every attempt to process your dongle the same day we receive your payment, but that isn’t always possible. We're currently experiencing a large number of requests; you should allow 3 business days for us to deliver your package to the shipper. That does not include the delivery time. The total turnaround time will depend on the shipping option you select. For example, the USPS option will add 3-4 days travel time after it has been received by the mail carrier.
NOTE: A signature will be required. If you can’t arrange to be home during the day to sign for the package, we recommend using the FedEx service and requesting a “hold for pickup” at your nearest Walgreens, Albertsons, Kroger, FedEx office or FedEx ship center location. You can find the best location by clicking here to go to the FedEx website. If you know you need this option, you can tell us which location you'd like to use and we'll make sure it goes there.
